We’re looking for volunteers to help weed sweet clover from the planting sites. We will focus entirely on preparing the planting sites for seeding. We’ll be removing sweet clover and other competing vegetation around the young oak trees and getting the soil ready for native fescue seed.
Please come prepared for the weather with sturdy work clothes and boots suitable for muddy, uneven terrain, and bring work gloves and water. We will provide the necessary hand tools, but feel free to bring your own favorite weeding tools if you have them.
Saturday, November 14, 2026 10am-2pm Meet @ the lower Aiston parking lot at the end of Beach avenue.
For questions or to RSVP, email skylar@liht.org or call 360-758-7997.
