Calling all crabbers! The Heritage Trust is sponsoring a free Gear Up for Crabbing Workshop on Saturday, June 22nd from 1:30 to 3:30. Presenters Mary Ross and Olivia Marshall will cover where to crab around the island, how to get a license, which crabs you are allowed to catch and how to identify them, and how to modify your gear and your crabbing methods to increase your catch and reduce your chance of losing gear.
