 | Nature Explorers Summer 2011 Our summer environmental education program for kids is offered again this year. Youth from 5-10 years of age are invited to attend Nature Explorers at the Otto Preserve Every Wednesday, July 6 through August 10. Our lively Nature Explorers will adopt tress, examine forest soils, analyze pond water, learn the parts of a plant, identify bird songs, and get to know what habitat is all about. Nature Explorers are led by a skilled group of adult and junior volunteers. Nature Explorers encourages children to fall in love with nature and develop a life long appreciation for our natural world.
